When I first started this blog, it was no more than a time-killing hobby that offered a home to all the food pictures I took at various dinners. Then I became more into it, began to enjoy writing about my experience at different restaurants, and found the joy of giving out what my friends would call “food advice” to some of them.
Of course, fame comes with a price and I soon learned that I needed to stay on top of this and keep the content fresh. That’s when Frank came along, joining VanFoodies as our second contributor last year. He added a new point of view to the blog, brought in additional restaurants to the “repertoire”, and selfishly speaking, took some of my work away. And the idea of a collaborative blog was slowly taking form.
Now, in the year of 2010, a new year, I want to welcome another contributor to VanFoodies.com. You may already see my reference to him in my previous posts, but Mr. will now take the centre stage and explain his own definition of good food to our readers using a more down-to-earth approach.
And that will make it three of us and without causing too much confusion, that will be it in terms of number. We each have a different style, but still, make sure you read the byline to see who the writer is! And if you’re already confused, feel free to visit the new About VanFoodies.com page to learn about the three writers of this blog.
Lastly, thank you for being a VanFoodies reader. The three of us will continue to take turn sharing our latest food adventures with you. Also, don’t be surprised if you start to see some co-authored posts. We’ll try to be more cohesive in our posting and stay true to the collaborative blog idea!
