Rodney's Oyster House offers its Happy Hour menu on Saturday, and my girlfriends and I checked it out as part of a birthday celebration. With the 4 of us, we went through most of its Low Tide (aka Happy Hour) menu.

Maji Restaurant – Weird, Tasty Taiwanese Goodness

What happens when you have 5 Chinese people having dinner at a Taiwanese restaurant? You order weird food!! Flipping through the menu at Maji and we basically picked out some of the weirdest items there.

[Wines] 25 Under $25 From Around the World at #VIWF

The last Vancouver International Wine Festival event that we attended was the popular 25 Under $25. It's one of the last events of the festival and in my mind, it's a great event for first-timers or wine beginners. Tickets were priced reasonably and you get to try 25 wines that are generally priced under $25, a price point that would be affordable to most, if not all, of us wine drinkers.

Tour de Feast – Hidden Gem in North Vancouver

A spa date with CC took me to North Vancouver and she suggested to try this restaurant called Tour de Feast. It's located in a business complex next to an industrial complex. It's not easy to spot in the dark and the interior basically looked like a cafe.

Eat Your Heart Out Benefiting Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation: A Recap

Having lived in the Tri-Cities area ever since my family and I moved to Canada, there is always a special place in my heart to promote awareness of what's in the area. When I was invited to the Eat Your Heart Out event, not only was I attracted to the idea of a restaurant crawl in Tri-Cities, but I was also drawn to the fact that this was a fundraiser for the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation to ensure the Eagle Ridge Hospital is well-equipped and staff are well-trained to serve the community.
