Joyce and I attended the media launch event at Prestons for its fall menu -- my first food blogger-type event. European Travels
For 3 weeks, I disappeared from Vancouver to go travel a little in Europe. We went from country to country, then flew back home.
Australia Travels – Din Tai Fung and Golden Century Seafood Restaurant
You're wondering, why am I reviewing two Chinese restaurants when I travelled so far? Frankly, because these two stood out for me...and I may have forgotten to take pictures while I was travelling. You can falcon punch me if you ever meet me. I spent two weeks in Australia, going from Sydney, to Melbourne, to Gold Coast, and back to Sydney again.
Burger Juice Trickle at Tree House Cafe
We were walking around town with a map in hand when one of the locals asked if we were lost. He suggested a few places for food, but insisted that we check out the cafe. He said it was one of the locals favourites around here and that it’s different.
Buns Galore – Coffee Bun Bakery & Cafe
Hope this post made you drool. Definitely recommended unless you're the type of person who thinks hard-shelled tacos are messy and can't handle a sloppy joe, you've been warned. Even if you're too full, just go in to smell their hot buns (hahahah, I'm very immature) and relax.
