I read a couple of months ago in Vancouver Magazine about the "101 Things to Taste". This is the second year that they have put together the list. The original link on the website isn't the most user-friendly. Finally, the pdf copy is out, and here it is.
Foodie Fun at Tourism Vancouver Open House
Our office was invited to the annual Tourism Vancouver Open House on Oct 7. Having only worked for a year, this is my first time attending the event. And leading up to the event, I have been told by a number of people that it's one of their favourite industry events. Especially the great food they serve at the event. That definitely set up some high expectations.

Red Lobster
Ever saw a commercial of which you found the product very appealing but you couldn't buy it? I felt this way when I saw the juicy, succulent shrimps and lobsters in the Red Lobster commercial on Food Network. Bad news - there's no Red Lobster in Vancouver! I must be blessed with all the luck. While enroute from Oregon back to Vancouver, we drove by a number of Red Lobster sign along I5. Exit 109, please.
Cheesecake Factory
On Facebook, I often saw my friends post pictures of a restaurant called Cheesecake Factory whenever they went to the States. It sounded like a must-go place in U.S. With a curious mind, I decided to check out the Bellevue store when I was enroute to Oregon.
