With an invitation to a Chef's Table at Earl's North Vancouver, Mr. and I sampled a number of dishes from their brunch menu. Before this, I never knew that Earls has an actual brunch menu, and it never came to mind when I looked for brunch spots.
The Observatory [Dine Out Vancouver 2014]
It has been a few years since we wanted to go to The Observatory on Grouse Mountain, but every time the menu just wasn't very interesting to us. Finally this year's menu seemed to have something for everyone so we booked it as part of our Chinese New Year celebration.
Chef’s Table at Earls Port Coquitlam

Faubourg Downtown – Great Addition for Your Pastry Craving
Earlier this year I visited the Faubourg in Kerrisdale for the first time, and learned that they were opening a new store in downtown. Well, time flies. A few months later, the new Faubourg on Hornby has opened its door and I of course had to swing by to check it out.
