Returning for its 12th year, Dine Out Vancouver 2013 will run from Jan 18 to Feb 3. During this two-week period, participating restaurants will offer prix fixe menus at $18, $28 or $38. The menus are now open for public to view, and restaurants have begun taking reservations.
Arms Reach Bistro
As part of my birthday celebration, Mr. took me out for dinner. It was an interesting ride to the restaurant because I didn't know where we were going. In the end, we arrived at the Arms Reach Bistro in Deep Cove.
The Coffee Garden Restaurant – Surf & Turf in Prince George
To be honest, I didn't have much expectation when it comes to food in Prince George. I didn't have much time to venture out anyway so I just ate at the hotel I stayed in.
Hi Genki – Diamond in the Rough
Hi Genki doesn’t serve sushi. It’s an authentic (relatively speaking) Japanese restaurant, primarily serving rice and noodle dishes. Between the two of us, we had the Spicy Karaage Donburi, the Genki Bento Box, and the Salmon Sashimi.
Indochine Kitchen + Bar (Wings Night!)
It's Halloween. It's also Wednesday. With an invitation to its Halloween Bacardi Party, it gave us an opportunity to try Indochine Kitchen + Bar. Rumour says it's owned by the son of Phnom Penh's owner. And it so happens that Wednesday is half-price wing day -- now there's no excuse to not go and order some wings.
