Parklane Chinese Restaurant – Celebrating full moon with Chiu Chow cuisine

Just a couple weeks ago it was Moon Festival aka Mid Autumn Festival. To us, it's an occasion for family gathering, so Mr. and I, along with our parents, went out for a big dinner at Parklane Chinese Restaurant.

Chicha Restaurant – Peruvian-Inspired Comfort Food [Dine Out Vancouver 2015]

For a triple-date night, we went for Dine Out at Chicha, a Peruvian-inspired eatery in the Mount Pleasant area. There were lots of options on the $28 menu, with some interesting combination of ingredients. I was intrigued.

Browns Socialhouse – Hanging out in the Brewery District

For a friend's reunion, we were once again looking for a central location for Vancouverites as well as suburbaners. So here we were at Browns Socialhouse in the Brewery District in New Westminster, close to the Sapperton skytrain station.

Chef’s Table at Earls Port Coquitlam

We were invited by the Earls in Poco to one of its exclusive Chef's Table evenings. The intention of the evening was to provide an opportunity to meet Head Chef Simon Zanotto, sample a number of their signature dishes, and gain a better understanding of the restaurant chain.

The Parlour – Taste of Yaletown Menu Tasting Event

As part of the Taste of Yaletown, The Parlour organized a free public menu tasting last week that featured an array of their existing menu options, as well as some new menu items, and items that are in development, to collect feedback.
