With a deal coupon, Mr. and I enjoyed a nice afternoon tea at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport. Honestly, if not for the coupon, I would never consider trekking all the way to the airport just to eat.
Dine Out Vancouver Returns with a New Website
Returning for its 12th year, Dine Out Vancouver 2013 will run from Jan 18 to Feb 3. During this two-week period, participating restaurants will offer prix fixe menus at $18, $28 or $38. The menus are now open for public to view, and restaurants have begun taking reservations.
Food @ Richmond Night Market
In addition to the Summer Night Market near No.5 Road and Vulcan Way, the original founder of the Richmond Night Market returns and sets up some tents by the River Rock Casino on River Road.
Deer Garden Signatures – Fish Soup Noodles
We went to the one in Continental Centre, which claims to the first ever fish soup noodles restaurant in Metro Vancouver (the company claims so, this is the second store of the chain).
Meat Time at the Hog Shack
The inside of Hog Shack was just as you would expect for a place like this: red and white checkered table cloth, wood paneled walls, and a lingering smell of charred meat and grease.
