We were walking around town with a map in hand when one of the locals asked if we were lost. He suggested a few places for food, but insisted that we check out the cafe. He said it was one of the locals favourites around here and that it’s different.

Blue cheese in Mac and Cheese? WHAT? For those of you that don’t like strong cheese, no need to worry. As thick and cheesy the sauce was, I could only detect a slight hint of blue cheese, for all I know I could’ve imagined it. The pasta was cooked just right, despite being scooped out of a warming tray. The meatballs must’ve been from two different batches. One was done perfectly, tender and moist, while the other was just a tad overcooked. Either way the seasoning was pretty spot on.

Can Mr. Cook? A V-day Dinner Review

When we don't feel like eating out (yes, this actually happens a lot), Mr. usually is the one in charge of cooking. I realize I never gave him credit for the yummy food he cooks, so I'm taking this opportunity to review one of his most impressive meals to-date.
