When work sent me to a 3-day class downtown, I had to scout out my lunch spots. And then there was Kita no Donburi right across from the campus (I was at the Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue). Not having made any friends in class just yet, I had to eat alone at Kita no Donburi. Let me first start by saying, it's weird to eat alone.
Mr. is a cat lover; me, not so much, so I was quite surprised when we arrived at what seemingly a cat cafe. Our visit to Cafe Chat L'Heureux was completely unplanned and unexpected.
Last fall, I was invited to a fun dinner at Tasty Indian Bistro where I was picked up in downtown Vancouver by the Vancouver Trolley Company then taken to the North Delta restaurant. So when we were looking for an Indian restaurant for lunch the other day, we went back to Tasty to give it another try.
During our search for the best Chinese restaurants in town, we made a stop at Uncle Lu in Richmond. It's the sister restaurant to Corner 23 on Cambie Street.
We don't venture out to Fraser Valley often, so when I had to take Mama Lam out to Langley for some wedding related activities, I decided to find some eats there. A deal voucher led us to having afternoon tea at Frosting Cupcakery.
