We got to sample different styles including Brut, Extra-Dry, and Rosé, paired with small bites featuring flavours from around the world to showcase the versatility of Prosecco. On the weekend, I went to the 32nd Annual Wellness Show in Vancouver. It's even more important now to discover and support local food products. In no particular order, here are nine BC or Canadian food products that I sampled and enjoyed, and would recommend you all to give it a try.
I was invited to the sold-out BC Food & Beverage Awards ceremony yesterday, and what a celebration of BC-made food & beverage products! Set at the beautiful Rocky Mountaineer Station, hundreds gathered to not only celebrate food and drinks produced in British Columbia, but to also recognize trailblazers and businesses that are making an environmental or social impact.
Earlier in May, I went to BC Distilled, BC's premier micro-distillery festival. I got to sample vodka, gin, whisky, and other spirits made by 43 distillers across British Columbia. There were some interesting ones and particularly, I enjoyed eight of the spirits and I think you would too.
