2013 BC Healthy Chef Competition – Recap

Once again thanks to work, I joined a few other colleagues at this much sought after event. The purpose of the Healthy Chef Competition is to promote healthy eating while raising money for the Mix it Up! campaign, Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Indochine Kitchen + Bar (Wings Night!)

It's Halloween. It's also Wednesday. With an invitation to its Halloween Bacardi Party, it gave us an opportunity to try Indochine Kitchen + Bar. Rumour says it's owned by the son of Phnom Penh's owner. And it so happens that Wednesday is half-price wing day -- now there's no excuse to not go and order some wings.

Phnom Penh – That Famous Cambodian Place

Phnom Penh is known to have the best chicken wings in town, and overall delicious food. And it’s very popular.

[VanFoodies eat Vegas] Pho at Treasure Island

Before we even got to Vegas, my friends had been convincing me to have Vietnamese food at Treasure Island, where we called home for the duration of our trip.

Cambie Vietnamese Restaurant

Located on Main and King Edward, but originally from a location on Cambie St. (which explains the name), Cambie Vietnamese Restaurant offers a wide menu selection that expands far beyond the typical varieties of pho. The dining space is fairly large with a number of tables and booths, and those who know me know how much I love booths. The inside is recently renovated, looking clean and fresh.
