#SpringFling at Mosaic Grille & Bar – It’s an Eye Candy too!

Partnering once again with the team at VANEATS, we were invited to sample the #SpringFling package at Mosaic Grille & Bar at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver. I haven't been back since the Taiwanese-inspired dinner with former Executive Chef Thomas Heinrich, so I was quite excited to try their new offering.

Rodney’s Oyster House – Happy Hour on the Weekend

Rodney's Oyster House offers its Happy Hour menu on Saturday, and my girlfriends and I checked it out as part of a birthday celebration. With the 4 of us, we went through most of its Low Tide (aka Happy Hour) menu.

Bistro Pastis – Fine Dining with a Comfort Food Flair

For Papa Lam's birthday, I took a break from Chinese restaurants and went for French food instead. And we went to Bistro Pastis for a traditional take on this cuisine. Excellent execution on a classic menu. It's a fine dining restaurant with some comfort food characteristics.

Stake at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver – Fine Dining in Tri-Cities

In Vancouver, there is no shortage of fine dining options to celebrate your special occasions. The suburb, is a different story. Last year, Hard Rock Casino in Coquitlam revamped its restaurants and introduced Stake, a fine dining establishment. So to celebrate CC's birthday, a few of us girls went there for dinner.

Taste of Yaletown at George Ultra Lounge

Last weekend I went for a girls' dinner with CC and LW. It's Taste of Yaletown time, which means we were able to order a prix fixe menu for an affordable $25, $35 or $45. We initially wanted to try Brix because it had a more appealing menu; unfortunately they were closed for a private event so we were offered a table at the sister operation, George Ultra Lounge. Turns out both Brix and George offer the same menu.
