Ever saw a commercial of which you found the product very appealing but you couldn't buy it? I felt this way when I saw the juicy, succulent shrimps and lobsters in the Red Lobster commercial on Food Network. Bad news - there's no Red Lobster in Vancouver! I must be blessed with all the luck. While enroute from Oregon back to Vancouver, we drove by a number of Red Lobster sign along I5. Exit 109, please.
Cheesecake Factory
On Facebook, I often saw my friends post pictures of a restaurant called Cheesecake Factory whenever they went to the States. It sounded like a must-go place in U.S. With a curious mind, I decided to check out the Bellevue store when I was enroute to Oregon.
Maenam
It was a saddening news when I learned that Gastropod would be closed and converted into something else. Having never tried the restaurant before the end of it, I had planned to visit the new "Gastropod", i.e. Maenam. Since the opening of Maenam I have heard many good things about it, and now it's my turn to pay it a visit.
Cardero’s Restaurant
$29.95 for a 3-course prime rib dinner, who would no to it? Planning a birthday dinner for my friend, I was given a specific criteria that the restaurant must be by the water. So, Cardero's came to mind. Along with the affordable menu, now the Sunday Night Prime Rib Dinner just made the deal even sweeter. Done. Decided.
Teahouse in Stanley Park
I recently learned that Sequoia Grill has gone back to its original name as the Teahouse Restaurant. Celebrating its 30 years of success, it has said a lot about the restaurant's quality and reputation. To top my South Granville adventure with my mom on Mother's Day, I decided to take my dad out for dinner at the Teahouse.
