On one of my rare afternoons off, I finally got the chance to try the Twisted Fork. For those of you who don’t know, it’s a little restaurant tucked away along Granville, right before the bridge. It’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention, but they do have their iconic fork sitting above the large window.

We headed down around 12:30PM for a very late brunch on a Sunday, and it was a 45 min wait. Luckily, I wasn’t waiting alone so it wasn’t a big deal. I would say, most people who stuck around for the wait knew how good the food was.
The place was packed as expected. Interiors was small, cozy, with some unique decorations including a door up on the wall. The servers and the manager/owner were very friendly and informative.
Who doesn't love brunch?
I had the Eggs Benny with brioche. On top of my brioche was smoked salmon, poached egg, and hollandaise sauce with sides of sauteed spinach, baked beans, and hash browns. It was pretty damn near perfect. (more…)
