Two weeks ago Lesley Stowe Fine Foods, which is famous for its Raincoast Crisps crackers, launched a collection of all-natural cookies called, you guessed it, Raincoast Cookies. Lonsdale Quay Market Taste Tour & Contest Winners Announced
For five days in October, the Lonsdale Quay Market ran a food and beverage festival called Savour. Upcoming Tasty Movie Events
The longer we're in the blogging community, the more interesting things we find out about our city. Recently we received two media releases about two different events in November. Nevertheless, still had a good time, met some really cool people, some really flamboyant people, and a couple of drinks.
Long’s Noodle House
I don't often blog about Chinese food because my mom makes great Canton-style dishes (think stir-frys). However we do appreciate other Chinese cuisines and sometimes go out and about for great finds. Shanghainese is one of our favourites, and here's one that we always go for our Shanghainese food fix - Long's Noodle House. The restaurant doesn't look all that fancy on the outside, but don't let that fool you. It serves some really great food.
