FEAST: DOXA Documentary Film Festival’s Annual Gala Fundraiser
DOXA was recently voted number 2 in the Best Local Film Festival Category by Georgia Straight readers for the second year in a row. The 11th Anniversary DOXA Documentary Film Festival will take place May 4-13, 2012 and they are holding its annual fundraiser on Saturday, Nov 5.

The evening promises a culinary adventure for all the senses. Each course will be served along with specially selected wine pairings as guests enjoy preview screenings of five delicious new documentary films:
- Smokin’ Fish – a new film about a Tlingit businessman reconnecting with his culture through food
- Ingredients – a film about the localvore movement and sustainable food production
- Florent: Queen of the Meat Market – a film about how a restaurant can support a community
- A Matter of Taste: Serving Up Paul Liebrandt – a documentary of the celebrated chef at New York’s Corton Restaurant, Paul Liebrandt
- Kings of Pastry – a film about the high stakes world of French patisserie.

Soufflé au Chocolat Movie Premiere and Ultimate Chocolate Tasting Buffet
