Bob Blumer's World's Weirdest Restaurants is returning for another season and he's hosting a dinner to preview some of the new episodes. Remembering how much fun it was the last time, I accepted the invitation and went to the dinner with JN.

It has become increasingly difficult for me to find a regular pub/bar, that has both good food and drinks (or at least moderately priced beer), with music that doesn't drown out conversation, and is casual enough to wear t-shirts and jeans but not look out of place if I came after work. Portland Craft is a runner up for me.

Chocolate Tasting at Koko Monk
I was invited to an exclusive chocolate tasting event at Koko Monk, among 10 other food media/bloggers. Koko Monk is the new retail shop for what you may previously know as Levni Chocolates that had been at five Vancouver farmer's markets since 2010.
