Earlier in May, I went to BC Distilled, BC's premier micro-distillery festival. I got to sample vodka, gin, whisky, and other spirits made by 43 distillers across British Columbia. There were some interesting ones and particularly, I enjoyed eight of the spirits and I think you would too.
With the new Whitecaps season kicked off last weekend and one of the biggest concert years ahead, BC Place Stadium and Sodexo Live! have launched their new concession menu for 2023. I had the pleasure to attend the media tasting and showcase last week, and here are what caught my eyes.
Last weekend I went to the 30th Annual Wellness Show in Vancouver. My intention was to discover interesting, tasty food products that are also good for our bodies. And I wasn't disappointed. Here are a couple of hot chocolates for kids or kids at heart! Kafka's Coffee has two creations for the Greater Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival and they are both quite fun.
Another stop of my Hot Chocolate Festival quest this year is Honolulu Coffee. I had a media preview of their two creations at the downtown Nelson location.
