[Dine Out Vancouver 2019] Menus are out: What looks good? #DOVF

Running from January 18 to February 3, Dine Out Vancouver is back! Did you know I've been doing Dine Out Vancouver since, like, forever? I had the opportunity to go through all the menus. Here are some suggestions, based on past experience as well as menu attractiveness.

2017 Lights at Lafarge – Free Holiday Light Display in Coquitlam

Last Christmas holiday, Mr. and I went to the Lights of Christmas in the US. Yes, it's the largest in Pacific Northwest, but there's a holiday light display right in our backyard. Best of all, it's free -- the Lights at Lafarge in Coquitlam. The event just ended last weekend. Did you catch it before it ended? If not, let me share some pictures for you.

Snowy Village Coquitlam – Everything Mochi!

Snowy Village opened its Coquitlam location in late December. The cold winter and rainy spring didn't seem to stop people from getting their shaved ice/bingsoo fix. Everytime I went (3 times now, in the last 2 months), there was always a short lineup at the door. So we noticed some new items on the menu, and naturally, we gave some of these a try.

Toe Dam Korean in Coquitlam – BBQ Whole Duck Korean Style

Once in awhile we organize an "in-law dinner" where my parents and Mr.'s parents can hang out and catch up. They always look to me for picking a unique place to go. No pressure. Well, this time around, Toe Dam in Coquitlam.

Choco Coo Cafe – Dessert Cafe in Coquitlam

I was quite excited when Choco Coo Cafe opened in Coquitlam earlier this year. There are not many dessert/cafe options in the area, so it's always nice to see another addition, especially seeing all the beautiful photos on Instagram. I was intrigued.
