A new Japanese souffle pancake shop is coming to town! Fufu is short for Fuwa Fuwa in Japanese, and it means fluffy. That's the very heart of these souffle pancakes. Owners of Fufu were inspired by their visit to Japan a couple of years ago, seeing how popular these souffle pancakes were, and wanted to bring these deliciousness to Vancouver. They spent months on perfecting the menu and recipes and now they are opening the doors at Broadway and Birch.
Nana’s Green Tea in Vancouver
Matcha lovers rejoice! Considered the Starbucks in Japan, Nana's Green Tea has arrived in North America. In fact, their first ever North American location will be right here in Vancouver! On June 6, their Kerrisdale location will open its door to the public.
Snowy Village Coquitlam – Everything Mochi!
Snowy Village opened its Coquitlam location in late December. The cold winter and rainy spring didn't seem to stop people from getting their shaved ice/bingsoo fix. [Food Truck] Innocent Ice Cream – Frozen Treat at the Beach
Summer is (finally) here and all kinds of frozen treats have been popping up in Vancouver. I remember seeing on Sean's Facebook feed one day that he discovered this ice cream sandwich food truck at English Bay. And then one sunny day, Nancy and I checked out Innocent Ice Cream Food Truck.
Choco Coo Cafe – Dessert Cafe in Coquitlam
I was quite excited when Choco Coo Cafe opened in Coquitlam earlier this year. There are not many dessert/cafe options in the area, so it's always nice to see another addition, especially seeing all the beautiful photos on Instagram. I was intrigued.
