With a deal coupon, Mr. and I enjoyed a nice afternoon tea at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport. Honestly, if not for the coupon, I would never consider trekking all the way to the airport just to eat.

Our deal included two glasses of sparkling wine, which was a decent, dry bubbly. Of course, the focus is still on our pots of tea. What’s different from the afternoon tea at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, is that this is a more modern take of afternoon tea. Check out the fancy tea press below. This tea pot also seems to hold more tea than the traditional pot. We ordered the Berry Berry and Cascade Peppermint, and between the two I would recommend Cascade Peppermint. It was very fragrant and of course, minty; it’s quite light and refreshing so it would go well with the pastries and sandwiches that you’re about to indulge in.
