On March 21, Jugo Juice launched a revamped food menu with 4 new sandwiches and 5 new wraps.

The new sandwiches are served on heritage sourdough from local bakery Terra Breads or a brand new natural and preservative free artisan bun from Ace Bakery called schiacciata.

I was invited to a media tasting of the new items and got to try the 4 sandwiches:

Taking a stroll downtown on Saturday after a night of partying (lol!), Mr. and I decided to check out one of the food trucks. We spotted Bada Bing, and yes, you know it, because of its name we couldn’t help but gave it a try!

Bada Bing’s menu is very simple. Philly cheesesteak (or chicken), rice boxes, a few options for fries, and that’s it. Great idea to keep it simple and straightforward for a food truck, versus trying to accomplish it all in such a small cooking space. Because we had a big dinner ahead of us, we only ordered a couple of things to share.

Turns out it was smart on us for ordering just two things. The portion size is rather decent for the price we paid. First, we picked the Philly Cheesesteak, their specialty item. It was about the size of a foot-long sandwich, with a generous serving of meat. The sandwich also comes with melted Monterey Jack Cheese, grilled onions and green peppers. You have to dress the sandwich yourself among choices such as BBQ sauce, teriyaki sauce and honey mustard sauce. (more…)
