Snowy Village opened its Coquitlam location in late December. The cold winter and rainy spring didn't seem to stop people from getting their shaved ice/bingsoo fix. Everytime I went (3 times now, in the last 2 months), there was always a short lineup at the door. So we noticed some new items on the menu, and naturally, we gave some of these a try.
Small Victory Bakery – Brunch over Mont Blanc
On the rare occasion that CC and I got to hang out we chose to check out CandyTown in Yaletown, and we decided to first grab a bite at Small Victory Bakery.
0755 Restaurant & Lounge – Don’t Judge a Restaurant by its Cover
Imagine you arrived at a restaurant where the exterior was all wrapped up so you couldn't see the inside, and all you could see was the LED marquee sign by the door. Then, as you were led into the restaurant the interior décor made you feel like you entered a night club, and you started thinking to yourself, what the heck did I get myself into?! That's kind of how I felt when I went to 0755 Restaurant and Lounge in Richmond. And then we were all pleasantly surprised.
Provence Marinaside – Taste of Yaletown 2016 Preview
Taste of Yaletown is back! For the 12th year, 31 restaurants in the Yaletown area are each offering a special menu at $25, $35 or $45. As part of the media preview, a number of us were whisked away to one of the participating restaurants. I was lucky enough to sample the menu at Provence Marinaside. It's been awhile since I last ate there, so I'm glad to go back for a re-visit.
[Food Truck] Innocent Ice Cream – Frozen Treat at the Beach
Summer is (finally) here and all kinds of frozen treats have been popping up in Vancouver. I remember seeing on Sean's Facebook feed one day that he discovered this ice cream sandwich food truck at English Bay. And then one sunny day, Nancy and I checked out Innocent Ice Cream Food Truck.
