[Recipe] Blush 75 Cocktail Perfect for Valentine’s Day

This is the classic French 75 cocktail but I changed it up with a sparkling rosé. I called it Blush 75 (and others may have named it similarly as well) because the sparkling rosé would give it a tint of pink. The colour is also perfect for Valentine's Day. And I love that I have all the ingredients at home so I don't have to buy a bunch of cocktail stuff that I don't use often.

Last weekend, winners of the 2023 BC Beer Awards were named at the Croatian Cultural Centre. The judges evaluated 925 entries to select the winners in 29 categories. I was invited to attend the ceremony and was excited to celebrate with the breweries and other beer lovers.

I was invited to the sold-out BC Food & Beverage Awards ceremony yesterday, and what a celebration of BC-made food & beverage products! Set at the beautiful Rocky Mountaineer Station, hundreds gathered to not only celebrate food and drinks produced in British Columbia, but to also recognize trailblazers and businesses that are making an environmental or social impact.

8 BC Distilled Spirits I Discovered Recently

Earlier in May, I went to BC Distilled, BC's premier micro-distillery festival. I got to sample vodka, gin, whisky, and other spirits made by 43 distillers across British Columbia. There were some interesting ones and particularly, I enjoyed eight of the spirits and I think you would too.

Exclusive Items at Zubu Downtown Vancouver

Opening on Feb 2, one of Vancouver's popular ramen shops Zubu makes its mark downtown on Hornby Street. The new restaurant is spacious and I have learned that it has 3 exclusive menu items that are not available at other Zubu locations. I was invited to a media preview and let me tell you more.
