[Christmas on VanFoodies] Seasons Greetings Advent Calendar Day 10

And the draw is: Red Racer Old School Lager. My first thought on this one was “Meh, Lager”. But if Steel & Oak has taught me anything, it’s that Lager doesn’t necessarily have to be a boring style. So I gave this one the benefit of the doubt, and I’m actually glad I did, because it’s not all that bad.

And the draw is: Parallel 49 Mr. Needles Fir Pale Ale. We have our first repeat from last year’s Craft Crossing advent calendar. That’s pretty impressive, to be honest, and is a great way of pointing out the great diversity we’re seeing in the box this year. Especially compared to year 1.

And the draw is: Central City Red Racer Doppelbock. Yet another of the many styles I’m a big fan of, Doppelbocks are malty, tasty, and so, so easy to drink.

And the draw is: Parallel 49 Beerserker Scandinavian Strong Ale. As soon as I saw the label, I started thinking this beer needed a Skyrim reference. I admit, at this point I was ready to love this beer before I’d even popped the cap.
