My first true craft beer was La Fin Du Monde by Unibroue, a delicious Belgian Tripel. This is the style that made me fall in love with craft beer to begin with, and I am always excited to try a new one.

Black Christmas is a...Christmas Dark Ale. Not a Cascadian Dark Ale, as we would assume. Well, yes it is, but no, it’s not. Christmas is the theme here people!

Right away, the label of this Red Racer Southern Cross Kiwi Kettle Sour made me think of the year I spent in Australia. On Christmas day it was nearly 40°C outside, with the cold, snowy winter back home just a dream.

Today we have a tiramisu flavoured dessert stout! Ooooooh now doesn’t that sound delicious!

And the draw is: Red Racer Old School Lager. My first thought on this one was “Meh, Lager”. But if Steel & Oak has taught me anything, it’s that Lager doesn’t necessarily have to be a boring style. So I gave this one the benefit of the doubt, and I’m actually glad I did, because it’s not all that bad.
