And the draw is: Red Racer Three Peaks Belgian Tripel
My first true craft beer was La Fin Du Monde by Unibroue, a delicious Belgian Tripel. This is the style that made me fall in love with craft beer to begin with, and I am always excited to try a new one.
Three Peaks pours gold with a minimal white head and a sweet, fruity aroma. The candi sugar really takes the forefront here, with fruity esters backing it up. And 9%? Really? Can barely tell. This would be dangerous in any serious quantity.
Totally arbitrary score with holiday reference: 3.25/5 Stocking Stuffers
