Pizzas, beer and board games – how can you go wrong with that? Courtesy of Panago Pizza, Mr. and I threw a pizza party and hosted 6 other friends last weekend.
Panago is currently featuring six fall pizza flavours, and lucky for us, we got to try each one of them:

BBQ sauce, grilled chicken, bacon, caramelized onions, red peppers, mozzarella + cheddar
- Veggie Mediterranean #veggiemed
Fresh passata tomato sauce, fire-roasted tomatoes, kalamata olives, red peppers, baby spinach leaves, red onions, feta cheese + mozzarella
To us, a pizza party wouldn’t be complete without some beer. Perfect for the fall season, Bryan suggested that we paired the pizzas with some Howe Sound Pumpkineater Imperial Pumpkin Ale. And clearly he’s enjoying too much of it and was not willing to share.
We couldn’t agree unanimously what our favourite pizza was, but we could agree that our top 3 favourites were 1) Steak Mushroom Melt for its rich, creamy cheese sauce combined with steak pieces; 2) Chipotle Chicken for its hint of spice in the chipotle cilantro sauce and the welcomed addition of sweet roasted corn; and 3) Deluxe Tropical Hawaiian for the addition of bacon to this Canadian classic.
It really was a hard decision to pick just one favourite. In fact, BBQ Chicken is the favourite flavour at my office – we throw a number of pizza parties throughout the year, and BBQ Chicken is a must-have (and we have to order a few of them!).
