[Hot Chocolate Festival 2026] C Market Coffee

The 16th Annual Hot Chocolate Festival is happening right now and I went to C Market Coffee to try their creations.

The Injeolmi White Chocolate has a subtle nutty flavour (reminds me of nutty hot milk actually), while the Umami Socolate gives you this tasty combination of sweet and savoury. I personally like the Umami Socolate more because it’s more complex, and the hint of soy sauce cuts through the richness of the hot chocolate. Both hot chocolates come with mini biscotti inspired by their respective flavours and I like them both. They are available for sale in small tubs, so if you like them, you can buy some to take home.

Bonus: They have Dubai Chewy Cookie! In case you don’t know what that is, it’s a sweet treat from Korea that is inspired by Dubai Chocolate. It has the crunchy filling of pistachio cream and kataifi, similar to Dubai Chocolate, and wrapped in a chewy marshmallow “skin”. It has quickly gained popularity and become viral worldwide, and everyone and everywhere is trying to re-create it. The one at C Market comes in a set of two ($13.99) — one classic, and one purple ube. It’s soft and chewy on the outside (it stretches soooo far!!), stuffed full of crispy, decadent pistachio kataifi inside. I really like the texture, but it’s rather sweet so I definitely recommend sharing with others.

C Market Coffee now has three locations in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Pitt Meadows. The hot chocolate creations and Dubai chewy cookies are available at all three locations. They also have a fourth location currently in construction; it will be on Main Street in Vancouver and it’s their first location in the City of Vancouver.
