After a nice dinner at a patio by the water, what else can you do to wrap up the nice warm Thursday evening? I joined the other tens of people for some gelato at La Casa Gelato.
You’d think people are less inclined to go out on a Thursday since there’s work the next morning. I was completely wrong. La Casa was packed with people at about 9:30pm – adults, teens, kids, families, seniors, even monks! It was definitely difficult to get around the long lineup for the token, then fight many others to redeem the ice cream cone. And picking the flavour wasn’t a particularly easy decision because there are 218 flavours to choose from. But in the end, it was all worth it. I got the Figs with Almond, and it’s really refreshing. I expected more flavours from the figs, but what I got was still pretty good. Subtle but tasty.
