Taste of Yaletown may be over but here are some more tasty pictures. We were invited to the Taste of Yaletown Premiere event, which kicked off the 11 days of deliciousness down in Yaletown. It was held at a cool venue aka the MINI Yaletown.
Participating restaurants included:
- Caché Bistro and Lounge
- George Lounge
- Glowbal Grill Steaks & Satay
- Hamilton Street Grill
- Killjoy
- Minami
- New Oxford
- Society
- Yaletown L’Antipasto
It was definitely a lot of fun eating while checking out the Mini Coopers – you could even get in one if your heart desired.
There were a number of tasty plates. Minami obviously didn’t disappoint but I quite enjoyed Cache’s Pulled Pork Cornbread Slider. I liked the slightly crunchy texture of the cornbread in place of regular buns.
Mr., on the other hand, really liked the Bison Crostini with Tomato Jam by Hamilton Street Grill. He went back for seconds (or thirds).
All in all, it was a lot of fun going from table to table to try dishes put out by participating restaurants. It was a nice way to get some ideas on what Yaletown restaurants have to offer.
