[News] Vancouver’s MICHELIN Guide 2024 Announced with Ten One-Star Restaurants

Announced last night at an invitation-only ceremony was the third edition of the MICHELIN Guide for Vancouver. A total of ten Vancouver restaurants are now one-MICHELIN-Starred, plus 16 with the Bib Gourmand designations, and 50 Recommended eateries.

“As we toast to year three of the MICHELIN Guide in Vancouver, the growing momentum and talent of the restaurant community continues to be impressive,” said Gwendal Poullennec, the International Director of the MICHELIN Guides. “The anonymous Inspectors could see and taste the passion of the local restaurant community and look forward to seeing the evolution of the local culinary scene continue.”

It was an honour to be invited to attend the ceremony and celebrate with all the chefs and restaurateurs. This year’s ceremony was held at The Commodore Ballroom with small bites and drinks. And yes I once again saw the MICHELIN Man Bibendum himself and couldn’t resist another picture!

Have you been to any of the new additions? Are you disappointed that your favourite restaurants still haven’t made the list? I haven’t been to Sushi Masuda but now I’m very intrigued!
