[Dine Out Vancouver 2019] Restaurants Extend Menu Dates #DOVF

The official Dine Out Vancouver may have ended on Sunday, but some restaurants have decided to offer the Dine Out menus just for a few more days.

Here are their respective extended end date and menu. The list is very short this year. I will keep updating the list if I hear more.

Until Feb 7

• Federico’s
• Sandbar Seafood
• Seasons in the Park
• Teahouse Restaurant

Until Feb 8

• Glowbal
• Trattoria Kitsilano

Until Feb 10

• Vancouver Fish Company

Frankly, with prix fixe menu price increased to $25, $35 and $45, I was less enthusiastic about participating. The addition of $15 menus didn’t help much because not many restaurants offer their prix fixe at this price point. In the end, out of my pocket I went to Popina, Fanny Bay, Kitchen by Yugo and L’Abattoir. Other than Kitchen by Yugo being mediocre, I was quite happy with my choices. I was also invited to a number of menu tastings, including Dockside Restaurant, Granville Island Brewery Taproom, Juke Fried Chicken, The Sandbar and the Vancouver Fish Company. I’m certainly feeling some Dine Out fatigue here, so hopefully they will do something different to spruce up one of the city’s favourite culinary events.
