The official Dine Out Vancouver may have ended on Sunday, but some restaurants have decided to offer the Dine Out menus just for a few more days.

Dine Out at Smoke and Bones
Here are their respective extended end date and menu. The list is much shorter than previous years. I will keep updating the list if I hear more.

This year, I went to Chutney Villa, Hook Seabar, Notch8, and Smoke and Bones. Overall, I was quite happy with the 4 restaurants – food tasted good and service was satisfactory. Smoke and Bones had the most generous portion size (I had packed food to go – leftovers!); Hook Seabar won best plating. I was also invited to a number of menu tastings and unique DOV culinary experiences, including Granville Room, Kaya Malay, and the Butcher at the Butcher event. As always, Dine Out Vancouver gave me an opportunity to discover gems in the city. I’m glad that I went for mostly $20 and $30 menus this year. Hopefully the 2019 season will be another good one.
